Therapist providing virtual couples therapy in Florida

I'm glad you're here!

You want to “get your life together” before you start therapy, but therapy is where you begin putting the pieces back together. Therapy is not about fixing you. It’s about helping you unlearn the belief that you were broken in the first place.

The truth is, being human is complex and you don’t have to do it perfectly. Life can be messy. Anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, self-doubt, perfectionism, people-pleasing, and that relentless inner voice that says you’re not enough can leave you feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected from yourself.

I’m here to help you navigate the messiness of being human. With me you can unmask, unwind, and feel safe enough to be you. Bright. Bold. Exhausted. Messy. Too much. Not enough. All of it. You don’t have to perform, hide parts of yourself, or have it all figured out. Come to your sessions exactly as you are. Bring the mess, the exhaustion, the uncertainty. If that means pajamas and tears I’m IN!

“You can’t go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the ending.”
– C.W. Lewis

What therapy with me looks like

My approach combines clinical expertise with a deep understanding of how relationships influence emotional well-being. With training in both Mental Health Counseling and Marriage and Family Therapy, I help clients understand not only what they are experiencing, but also the past patterns and relationships that shape those experiences.

Therapy with me offers you a safe space to slow down, make sense of what you’re carrying, and reconnect with who you are beneath the pressure to be everything for everyone else. It is a process of learning and unlearning, of leaning in and then letting go. Together, we’ll replace judgment with understanding, criticism with self-compassion, and survival patterns with choices that feel more aligned with the life you want to live.

I hold space for stories shared with no one else, carry hope for people who feel hopeless. I don't "rescue" you from your pain. I sit with you in it. I’m not here to judge or “fix” you. I’m here to help you make sense of your experience, reconnect with your inner strengths, and create meaningful, lasting change. You’re not broken. You’re becoming, and you don't have to navigate this alone.

Online Couples Therapy in Florida

Two hands forming a heart shape, illustrating the goal of rebuilding connection in couples therapy, symbolizing connection and healing.

Helping couples find their way back to each other

You are having the same arguments repeatedly, feeling more like roommates than partners, dealing with a lack of emotional and physical intimacy, feeling disconnected, and maybe you've even reached the point where you're questioning whether it's possible to get back to the relationship you once had.

You and your partner are having two different conversations.

One of you wants to talk, while the other shuts down to avoid making things worse.

One of you is discussing the present situation, while the other is bringing up unresolved issues from the past.

One of you may feel unheard, while the other feels like nothing you do is ever enough.

One of you is talking about your feelings, while the other is trying to make sense of the situation logically.

One of you is sharing how something emotionally impacted them, while the other gets defensive because they perceive it as a personal attack.

One of you is looking for validation of your feelings and experiences, while the other is focused on rushing in to fix it.

Every couple argues. I don't believe healthy couples fight less. Healthy relationships aren’t defined by the absence of conflict. They are defined by how they repair after conflict. The goal isn't to avoid ever triggering one another. The goal is learning how to stay connected while understanding what those triggers are trying to tell you and repair before disconnection grows. Most arguments aren't really about the dishes, the money, sex, or whose turn it is. They are about the emotions, fears, and unmet needs underneath. You aren’t fighting about the surface issue. You are fighting about the feelings wrapped inside the issue. It’s usually about feeling unseen, unimportant, rejected, alone, or unsafe.

We often assume we know our partner because we have known them for years, but people continue to grow and change throughout life. Without realizing it, couples can begin relating to outdated versions of one another instead of the people they've become. Therapy creates space to slow down enough to rediscover your partner, understand how you've both evolved, and reconnect with who your partner is now, not just who they were years ago.

Whether your relationship is in crisis or you simply want to strengthen an already meaningful partnership, Evolve Psychotherapy provides online couples therapy in Florida, offering a space to slow down the conversations that usually spiral out of control, identify the patterns that keep you stuck, understand the cycle you've both become caught in, and begin to reconnect with the parts of your relationship that may have been lost along the way.

  • Emotional disconnection or feeling more like roommates than partners

  • Communication difficulties and recurring arguments

  • Infidelity and rebuilding trust

  • Lack of intimacy and affection

  • Differences in parenting, finances, or values

  • Major life transitions and stress

  • Resentment, anger, unmet needs, or unresolved hurt

  • Considering separation or uncertainty about the future of the relationship

Couples come to me when experiencing:

Couple sitting with arms crossed in a couples therapy session showing conflict, tension, emotional disconnection, and distance in the relationship.

Couples often worry therapy will become a place where someone is blamed or forced to "take sides." My role is not deciding who's right or wrong. My goal is to help both of you feel heard, understand the patterns that keep you stuck, and guide conversations that are difficult to have on your own.

I work with couples in all stages of their relationship, including dating and premarital couples, married and long-term partners, LGBTQ+ couples, couples seeking proactive support before challenges escalate, and those feeling stuck in ongoing conflict or facing difficult decisions about the future of their relationship.

Every relationship experiences periods of disconnection. The question isn't whether you'll struggle, it’s what happens next. Even relationships that have been stuck in painful patterns for years can begin to change when both partners understand the cycle they're trapped in and learn new ways of responding to one another. Seeking couples therapy isn't admitting your relationship has failed. It's choosing not to let the same patterns continue writing your story. With curiosity, commitment, and the right support, it is possible to rebuild trust, deepen understanding, and find your way back to each other.

If you're ready to reconnect with each other, I’d be honored to support you.

Common Questions

Do you offer in-person therapy?

[ 01 ]

No. Evolve Psychotherapy is a fully virtual practice offering telehealth sessions to clients throughout Florida.

[ 02 ]

What technology do I need for a virtual session?

You will need a computer, tablet, or smartphone, and a reliable internet connection.

[ 03 ]

How long and how often are the sessions?

Sessions are 55 minutes long, traditionally once weekly.

[ 04 ]

Do you accept insurance?

As a private-pay practice, I do not participate in insurance networks. This allows for greater privacy, confidentiality, flexibility, and a therapeutic approach that is guided by your needs rather than the requirements of an insurance company deciding your treatment. While I do not accept insurance directly, many insurance companies provide partial or full reimbursement for out of network psychotherapy. With that in mind, I can provide a superbill upon request for you to submit to your insurance provider for potential reimbursement of therapy costs. I encourage you to contact your particular insurance company to learn more about your out-of-network mental health benefits.

[ 05 ]

What are your fees?

The fee for a 55-minute session is $200. I reserve a limited number of reduced rate spots to help make therapy more accessible. If cost is a barrier, please reach out.

[ 06 ]

What ages and populations do you work with?

I work with couples and individuals 18 years and older that are experiencing relationship difficulties, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, perfectionism, overwhelm, or those that simply want greater self-understanding and personal growth. I work with clients throughout the state of Florida.

[ 07 ]

Are sessions confidential?

Yes, all sessions are strictly confidential. We meet virtually on a secure HIPAA compliant platform. I adhere to the highest ethical standards to protect your privacy and ensure your trust is maintained. The only limits to confidentiality include imminent risk of harm to yourself or someone else or suspected abuse.

[ 08 ]

Are you LGBTQ+ affirming?

Absolutely! Therapy is provided in a supportive, inclusive, and affirming environment.

[ 09 ]

Do you work with couples?
